This is an unusual early 1900s Ruskin Arts & Crafts egg yolk yellow glazed pottery cabochon set in a pewter pendant . The back has an enclosed backing so I can't display the Ruskin mark, but this piece came from England and the yellow glazed cabochon is a match to other marked Ruskin pieces I have had. I have supplied the pendant with a simple old chain to complete it as a necklace. The chain is unmarked and is probably silver plate or white brass.
The pendant measures 1.5" in diameter. The stone measures 1" in diameter. The chain measures 18".
Condition is good. The stone has typical cracalature to the glaze.
Most Ruskin jewelry is in brooch form. This is the first pendant I have had. The pottery stone has a wonderful egg yolk yellow gold color.
