Early 1900s Chinese Aventurine Goldstone Gilded Filigree Bracelet w/ Box

This is a dramatic circa early 1900s Chinese made gilded filigree bracelet featuring a large round faceted aventurine goldstone in the center. Aventurine, also known as goldstone, is a man made glass stone that sparkles due to flecks of copper dispersed uniformly throughout. The center stone is framed by a circle of artificial pearls. The bracelet is only marked CHINA on the back. This bracelet comes in its original stamped CHINA box with silk brocade outside and fitted red velvet interior. The box lid is missing one end. The bracelet is composed of 5 filigreed gilded brass sections hinged together. It closes with a functional tab clasp.

This fine bracelet has a wearable length of 7". The center stone is 1.25" in diameter, and the maximum width is 1.5". The narrowest width at the clasp is .5".

Condition is good. Box is missing one end of lid.

This is an attention grabber for sure, a very uncommon and showy early vintage bracelet.
