This is a fine vintage 27" long linked marbled butterscotch amber Bakelite bead necklace. The 4 oblong beads test positive for Bakelite. The 5 round disc shaped beads with marbling do not. The beads are linked together by a handcrafted chain and decorative end caps of silver plated copper. There is a 2.25" long Y style dangle at bottom with a decorative metal bead and one more small Bakelite bead. There is no clasp as it is long enough to be worn over the head without need for a clasp.
This necklace weighs 59.2 gr. The round disc shaped beads are 1" in diameter, and the oblong beads are .875" long.
Condition is good, with expected tarnish to the metal.
This necklace has a nice ethnic appeal.
