14K Yellow Gold Size 7 Galamela Band Ring

This fine 14K yellow gold size 7 band ring has a finely engraved decorative pattern all around and the word Galamela enameled on the front. The name Galamela or Gala Mela comes from a Hindu story about a King who was given a magnificent ring by a magician. He believed that his power was derived from this ring. One day he lost the ring and suspected that one of his court had stolen it, so he called the magician for help. The magician gave each of the courtiers a stick. He said that those were magic sticks and the stick the thief has would grow three inches by morning. The next day, when the courtiers assembled, one stick was short by three inches. The thief had cut it thinking it would grow.

This ring weighs 7 gr. It is approximately a US size 7. The band is 9mm wide. It is marked 14K inside.

Condition is generally good. I note only that that there is some minor enamel loss on the lettering.
