Durgin Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon Crown Coat of Arms Gold Wash Enamel

Antique Durgin sterling silver and enamel souvenir spoon features an embossed multicolor enamel coat of arms with red enamel crown at the top and below appearing to be a lamb. The entire spoon has a gold wash. It bears the Durgin hallmark, circa 1853-1905. It is marked sterling, measures 4 1/4 inches, weighs 12 grams and the condition is very good with light wear to the gold wash and a couple of dimples in the bowl.

Many pieces of Durgin silverware are finished with gold wash and considered very desirable. This is a fine example of outstanding early American Silver.
