Antique Sterling Silver Unakite Cabochon Stick Pin

Dates from the mid Edwardian era, circa 1905.

Crafted in sterling silver, which originally had a gold-washed finished. Not hallmarked, but carefully acid tested.

From a turn of the last century collection of an avid gem & mineral collector, this pin features a natural pink & green unakite cabochon. Unakite was first discovered in North Carolina, USA, (which is also where this pin is from). Bezel-set and finished with a twisted rope surround.

Stickpin measures 2.46" from top to bottom, with a maximum width of 0.47" from side to side. This piece weighs 1.7 grams.

Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs.
