This is a beautiful little plate with a floral edging in pink, blue, white and yellow flowers against a white background. The rim and the base of the floral edge is highlighted with gold trim with only minor wear. The plate is in good condition and measures 6 ½” diameter.
The bottom is marked: Palissy Pottery, England, Est. 1853.
Chintz is the generic name for English china with an allover floral transfer design. It was produced in England during the first half of the 20th Century.
