Chintz ,Royal Winton, Balmoral, Dish

This is a pretty elongated dish or tray. It's in a floral pattern with pink, blue, white, orange and yellow flowers against a black background. The rim of the dish is highlighted with gold trim with only slight wear on two of the corners. The dish has crazing that is visible underneath; otherwise it is in good condition. The beautiful long dish, or tray, measures 11" in length x 5" in width x 1 ¼" in height.

The bottom is marked: Balmoral, Royal Winton, Grimwades, Made in England, A.

Chintz is the generic name for English china with an allover floral transfer design. It was produced in England during the first half of the 20th Century.
