Up for sale is a 1953 copy of the original black and white photograph of Orville and Wilbur Wright taken at Kill Devil Hills, NC. The original image was taken when Orville took off from this spot and accomplished his first successful flight of a heavier-than-air machine on December 17, 1903. The size of the photo is 10 1/4" x 8". The back of the photograph has information stamped for authentication. Condition of the photograph is very good with some creasing on the corners.*Note: the American flag attached to tail of plane.
