Jema Holland Luster Parakeet Planter
If you're looking for bright, shiny and Budgies with a bit of a basket besides then consider this planter from 1950's Holland sporting two perched Parakeets with a basketweave well on the side. The planter is made of ceramic and lavishly done in lustre with vibrant tones. It is a larger piece measuring 10.25" long, 3.25" wide and 8 3/8" tall, and is in excellent condition despite its age and world travels (it came to us via Germany) and is marked "Jema Holland" on the bottom. The planter well is quite clean (doesn't look like it was ever used) and the perfect place for storing brushes, scissors, pens, utensils and guest washcloths not to mention plants and (our personal favorite) bird feathers. Quite certain to catch the eye - you'll like!
