Cortendorf Parakeet Figurine from Germany
A sensational and streamlined Parakeet figurine from Germany, made of porcelain and done in green and yellow -just like your little love! He was "hatched" by Cortendorf between 1955 and 1973, before Goebel took over the factory, and is handpainted with a shiny glaze finish. Budgie Boy (and boy, is a he boy, look at that cere) stands almost 8" tall and is 2.75" at his base. He's in wonderful condition, with nary a chip, crack, or repair to mar his elegant perfection. He is marked with the Cortendorf "Made in Western Germany" logo on the bottom along with some numbers. Tis a 'Keet keeper, I'm sure you'll be thrilled with him!
