This old pail, straight from Grandma's farm, is such a wonderful size! The pail measures just under 8 ½" wide and stands 6" tall at the top of the body. It retains it's original bail handle and tin lid with wooden knob. This is a heavy old pail with strong riveted "ears"....indicative of early manufacture. There is some light surface rust, mainly around the perimeter and very light scattered surface on the lid. The smokey blue swirl color of the enamel is gorgeous. Overall, this is a fabulous example of early country primitive enamelware straight from the farm, and it would look amazing displayed in your country kitchen cupboard! A beauty!
