Granny's Old 'Farm House Olives' Glass Jar - Advertising - Reid, Murdoch & Co.

The jar once contained "Farm House Olives ~ Giant Queens", made by the Reid, Murdoch & Co. of Chicago. This was a company that made lots of food products, and their advertising is extremely collectible. This jar is special because of its wonderful country appeal with the paper label, that is nearly 100% intact. The twist-on lid is extremely rusty, but it only adds to the country charm. There are no cracks or chips, only a teeny tiny flake on the top rim, under the lid. The jar measures 7 1/4" tall.

What a fabulous and rare old jar! Would look awesome in your country kitchen cupboard or in a general store collection!
