Old Custard Glass 8" Bowl- Handpainted Roses

This custard glass bowl with pie crust edging has lovely pink and red roses handpainted on both sides-the edges once were gilt but only remnants of this remains. The bright green glow of the glass seen in the photos is due to the fact that the glass is light reactive and the cameras flash caused this-no black light was used. Bowl measures 7 3/4 inches across and is 4 1/4 inches bottom to top. The paint enamel is in remarkable condition as well as the glass-no damages of any sort.
