I purchased this as a Scottish Celtic Cross but was informed that it is ARMENIAN. If anyone can help me on this I would appreciate it. It's a beautiful piece, similar to agate items used extensively in Victorian times in the making of Scottish jewelry. The cross is wonderfully detailed with inlaid silver, and it is perfect. Under the stand there is a score but it is not a crack. I've seen this often and think it happens when the agate is being cut. Rich dark brown in color and stands 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide. (The base is 2 1/2 inches x 1 inch). It does not appear to be old. Although I paid quite a bit for this piece, I have greatly educed this hoping someone of Armenian (Celtic) descent will appreciate it.
