Victorian GF/Moonstone "Over Niagara in a Barrel" Stanhope
I have added a newer chain for interest on this piece; a regular watch chain just didn't do it for me because it's so pretty. I have shown the little hole in the barrel where you can look and see pictures of Niagara Falls. The chain parts are gold filled. I like to think this was given to a bride on honeymoon or perhaps on an anniversary of their wedding at Niagara Falls. I have added a dogclip for ease of closure which can be move further down the chain to make it longer. At present it measures around 18 to 19 inches and the moonstone drop piece is 3 1/2 inches Truly one of a kind!
