This is a beautiful ring, the oval bloodstone still retaining its shine (the picture lies!) Bloodstone is very popular in England; the Victorians were very partial to it as they felt it improved their blood! I always buy bloodstone pieces while over there. This ring is marked 10k so perhaps made in US, but no other marking so I can't tell much about it except that it is in wonderful condition with a strong gold shank and unusual, rather restrained, setting. Perhaps it was a gentleman's pinky ring? Stone is 9/16 x 7/16. SORRY THE BOX IS NOT INCLUDED.
