Art Deco Tin Powder Compact with Pierrot Advertising Graphic

This is a wonderful little tin powder compact from the 1920s or 30s with an advertising graphic design of a fellow dressed as Pierrot romancing a lady in colonial dress. The sides of the compact are decorated with a floral design and tiny silhouettes. The back of the compact reads La-May Sport Vanity Poudre L'Ame The Purest Finest Face Powder Known to Science. Both the back and the side show the seller's name as Herbert Roystone, New York.

The puff is still present and there are still traces of powder on the puff and on the perforated section that was the powder well. The mirror is a little loose, but is in good shape.

It is 2 1/2 inches in diameter and about 3/8 inch thick. It is in very good vintage condition. As can be seen in the pictures there are a couple of areas of paint loss on the lid and the lid is a little dented. There is also one shallow dent on the back.
