This is a lovely little vinaigrette or perfume pendant in sterling silver and guilloche enamel. It is white enamel decorated with pink roses. The vinaigrette unscrews to hold a little sponge or other absorbent material which would have been saturated in perfume or smelling salts. It is marked on the interior Wolcott and Sterling. I haven't been able to find out anything about this maker. The silver has been given a gold wash which is a little worn on the exterior. It is on a delicate gold colored chain. The bail is marked 1/20 12K GF. I believe this vinaigrette dates to around 1900 - 1910.
The vinaigrette is about 3/4 inch tall and a bit less wide. The chain is 18 inches long. It is in very nice condition with two small areas of loss to the enamel.
