Sterling and Guilloche Enamel Brooch with Roses
This is a truly lovely sterling silver and guilloche enamel brooch enhanced with a design of tiny pink roses. The background enamel is white and the guilloche makes it look like lace. The pin is oval and there are bunches of roses at the compass points. These are linked with delicate gold arabesques and there are tiny fleur de lis in the borders also at the compass points. It is marked Sterling on the back and it is very heavy and substantial. It fastens with a C catch.

It measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 inch. There is a flake in the enamel on one edge just over one of the fleur de lis. It is in the clear surface enamel and does not go through to the metal and is hard to see. Otherwise the condition is good.
