Hamilton Beach Model 65 Ice Cream Scoop - Size 12

We are pleased to have this Hamilton Beach Model 65 Ice Cream Scoop.

This is a relatively large size #12 scoop with an early black plastic ribbed handle. The end of the handle has a bright lime green cap with the initials “hb” for Hamilton Beach.

It has a lever with a thumb tab that operates the wiper or slicer to release the ice cream from the bowl. It has good weight and balance. It has a “12” on the wiper, indicating it is a size 12 – meaning 12 scoops to a quart of ice cream, so it is fairly large. Most scoops run in the size range of 6 to 24.

Other than the size, it is marked “Hamilton Beach; Stainless; Model 65”. It measures about 9” long and the bowl is 2 ½” across the opening. It weighs just over 7 ounces.

Excellent Condition: it shows minor signs of use with some scratches and minimal tarnish on the metal parts. The lever action still works smoothly and the plastic handle is well attached, with no cracks or chips.

This is a fun area of collecting, and this ice cream scoop is a terrific example. It would be a perfect addition to a collection, so don’t miss out! We are always offering a nice selection of vintage goodies, so please take a look through our shop. We would be pleased to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
