Royal Bayreuth Scenic Tapestry Vase with 3 Ladies

The design on this vase depicts 3 ladies in formal dress in a garden setting. It has the famous, gorgeous `tapestry' texture and the backdrop colors are earthy brown on the bottom with a sky blue on top. The scene has blush green trees and grasses and the ladies are wearing orange, rose and pale pink dresses. They are holding a long flower garland and there is a `marble' statue behind them.

It has a narrow foot, widening at the shoulder and narrowing at the gilded rim. The interior is fully glazed white and the foot is bisque.

It is marked with a green stamped shield mark and a green circle stating "Made in Germany". It has an impressed `3105' and an artist's mark with a `30'. It measures about 5 ¾" tall, 2 ½" across the top and almost 2 ¾" across the foot.

Excellent Condition: no crazing, cracks, nicks or chips. The gold at the rim shows wear, retaining 50% and the foot ring is a little rough.
