Bakelite Trophy Pen Holder for 1955 N.E. Jr. and Small College Basketball Tournament Runners Up

This unique find was presented to the runners-up of the 1955 N.E. Jr. & Small College Basketball Tournament. It has a small black plaque on the front with a tiny basketball medallion above it. It is solid Bakelite in a butterscotch color with dark marbling. The body sits at an angle on the base and the top `curls' forward for balance. The bottom front under the plaque is a groove to serve as a penholder.

It is heavy, solid Bakelite with an impressed "M-33" on the side. The base is about 2 ¾" by 2" and it stands about 2 ½" tall.

Excellent Condition: no cracks or scratches; a couple corners have a bit of a rounded edge; no chips. .
