This is a stunning Opalescent Blue Klondyke Footed Bowl.
This pattern is also known as Fluted Scroll. It is a shallow bowl with a deeply scalloped, undulating rim. The beautiful blue has a hint of violet purple shading and the opalescence is bright white. It has a moulded fine rib design on the exterior and 3 fluted, curled feet. A ribbon effect extends from the feet, up the outside of the bowl.
Unmarked, it was made by The Northwood Glass Company, ca. 1889. It stands about 4” tall and measures 7 ½” across the top.
Excellent Condition: no cracks, heavy scratches, nicks or chips; a few straw marks that do not detract.
