We are pleased to offer this EAPG Vaseline Glass Polka Dot Finger Bowl.
This small bowl has an optic dot pattern that can be felt on both the inside and outside. The dots extend from the rim to the base, where one ring is actually on the foot. The rim is ground and polished and this piece has a lovely ringtone when tapped. The pattern was originally named Polka Dot and was so popular that it was made by a number of manufacturers.
It is unmarked and made ca. 1885. It measures about 2 5/8" tall, 5 1/8" across the top and 2 3/8" across the bottom.
Excellent Condition: no cloudiness, cracks or chips. It has some tiny pindot flea bites on the rim.
What a gorgeous piece! This bowl would be a perfect piece to serve condiments or candy. It is a beautiful example of EAPG Vaseline Glassware and it is sure to be a special addition to any collection. It would be an excellent choice for a gift. We are always offering a nice selection of vintage goodies, so please take a look through our shop. We are always happy to combine shipping.
