EAPG U. S. Glass Delaware Pattern Berry Bowl - State Series
The Delaware pattern was part of the State Series of patterns that U.S. Glass named after different states. It is an individual berry or dessert bowl, with curled sides and a multi-point starburst on the foot. The decoration on the sides has a stippled background with a leaf and flower pattern that is highlighted with pale cranberry staining. It has gold around the rim and foot, on a raised surface with an irregular edge.
Unmarked, it was made by The U.S. Glass Company. It measures about 4” across the top, 1 ½" tall, and about 2 ¼” across the foot.
Excellent Condition: no cloudiness, heavy scratches, cracks, nicks or chips. The applied colors have almost no loss, retaining 99%.
What an elegant piece! This bowl is a beautiful, colorful example of EAPG Glassware and it is sure to be a special addition to any collection. Imagine setting a table with the Delaware pattern, or perhaps a mix of all of the State Series patterns!
