New Martinsville Canterbury Etch 12" Cupped Glass Bowl
It has a well-defined etched pattern on the exterior of the bowl and a slightly curled, scalloped rim. The floral and scroll etch is wonderfully executed on this popular moulded shape. It has a ground and polished foot ring and a beautiful ring tone when tapped.
Unmarked, it is by The New Martinsville Glass Company, ca. 1940-1944. It measures about 3" tall and about 11 ½" across the top.
Excellent Condition: no cracks, nicks, chips or heavy use scratches. It has some shelf wear scratches on the foot.
This delicate pattern can be hard to find, so we are pleased to offer this exquisite example. It can be used to serve foods, as a fruit bowl, or even to display a low centerpiece. This is the perfect opportunity to add to your collection! We are always offering a wide assortment of goodies in our shop, so please take a look around. We would be pleased to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
