Vintage Smooth Rays Marigold Carnival Glass Candy Dish

The lovely rays extend from the center outward and widen as they extend toward the plain, narrow edge at the rim. The undulating rim adds a nice appearance of movement! It is a footed style with a center well. This is a rich marigold carnival color with highlights including green, blue and purple.

It is an unmarked estate piece. It measures 9 ½" across the top and about 2 ½" tall to the top of the rim.

Excellent Condition: a couple minor surface use scratches; no cracks, nicks or chips; several bubbles that are fully encased in the glass and a minor manufacturing flaw at rim giving a raised rough spot (very tiny).

This is a lovely example of carnival glass and it would be a terrific addition to any carnival glass collection! Terrific for use or display, any collector would be happy to add this to a set.
