Duncan Miller Pink Opalescent Hobnail Pedestal Ivy Vase ca 1940s
The graduated hobnails on this beauty are highlighted by opalescence. It has a graceful pedestal with a crimped rim ball shaped vase on top. The hobnails at the base of the ball are clear pink and the opalescence increases toward both the top and bottom of the piece. The pink has a bit of an orange tint. It is a hard to find piece in this color and it is weighty, quality glassware.
Unmarked, it was made by Duncan & Miller Glass Company, circa 1940's. It stands about 6 ¼" tall.
Excellent Condition: no cracks, heavy scratches, nicks or chips.
This is a striking, hard to find piece and it is one of many lovely opalescent items we are pleased to offer. Don't miss the opportunity to expand your set or purchase an ideal gift for a favorite collector!
