An 18th Century Brocaded Silk Panel, Circa 1735.

An 18th century panel of brocaded silk damask. Dark coral coloured silk damask, brocaded in blue, green, red silk threads and silver-gilt threads with a giant flower pattern. French or Italian, Circa 1735. Framed by a later braided edge and backed with cotton. Measurements, 22" by 26 1/2" ( 56.5 cm by 67.5 cm ). Condition, Good, some staining to the damask and some lose of the silk brocading threads ( notably the whites & blues ). Please use the larger views option of the photographs.
