A Pair of Georgian Silver & Paste Cufflinks. Circa 1800.

A pair of Georgian cufflinks. Made of sterling silver. Each cufflink composed of two collets set with faceted clear pastes in cut-down settings with shanks on the reverse attached to a pierced work cartouche. Circa 1800. Measurements, collets 3/8" ( 9.5 cm ) by 3/8" ( 9.5 cm ), depth ( including shank ) just under 1/2" ( 1.2 cm ). Internal length ( distance between collets ) composed of two shanks and the cartouche joining them 5/8" ( 1.6 cm ). Condition, Very Good, good clear pastes and no wear to the shanks. The silver has been acid tested as sterling silver.
