Lovely One-Handled Serving Bowl or Nappy displaying clusters of Red Currants. The artwork is expertly carried out in the classic Limoges style with blushed & shadowed multi-hues in the background and detailed vibrant colors in the foreground. The scalloped carved mold & color composition is what makes this piece so alluring. It always amazes me to think about the amount of work that goes into a piece like this. And to be able to take such a simple subject and turned it into a Work of Art is even more impressive. Certainly this period artist was a master of their craft!
