Known as a Cracker & Cheese Dip Bowl Plate (sometimes also referred to as a Shrimp Plate), these two-tiered dishes were used to serve Cheese and Toasted Crackers after a formal dinner. This particular piece features Lovely Victorian Yellow Roses against a rich dark backgrounds of floral greens and chocolate brown! A wonderful Victorian piece to add to many different types of collections. Mark/ Age: Mavaleix (BMdeM) 1908-1914 (more easily seen in person, the mark is quite worn and is hard to capture on film. It is guaranteed to be Limoges)
