Antique Limoges France Charger Plate 'Single-Petal Wild Yellow Roses' Rococo Style
What a lovely vintage Victorian Rose charger featuring a cascade of hand-painted YELLOW ROSES! This lovely charger was painted in the late 19th Century French Art style, with detailed criss-cross or cross-hatched scroll work scattered throughout the piece. The single-petal wild yellow roses against the crisp white porcelain background makes a stunning visual. The composition is very well balanced and the color scheme gives the piece a very delicate feel. The carved white ware mold is especially nice. A stunning piece to add to the serious floral porcelain collection.
