Antique Inkwell Hand Painted Floral Pink Gold Green Porcelain Brass Inkwell Signed

Done in a white porcelain, it features a bowl center with hand painted pink and purple flowers, green leaves, green dotted accent, and little gold gilt handles.

The base is hand painted a golden yellow with gold gilt line around the edge.

The top is a solid patinated brass with hole for pen, and ornate lid which lifts to reveal removable glass inkwell.

~ MEASUREMENT: 3-1/4" across top x 3-1/4" tall

~ CONDITION: Overall this inkwell is in beautiful condition.

The hand painted floral pattern is perfect.

The gold gilt handles are almost perfect, with only the tiniest of wear, which is to be expected on a piece this age.

The patinated brass top is perfect, having no dents or scratches. The lid is very secure. The glass insert, while still retaining its original ink residue is perfect and has no chips or cracks.

There is some slight flecking of the yellow paint around the base, but in keeping with age, and does not take away form the overall viewing beauty of this piece.

~ SIGNED: This piece has a mark under the glass, but I am unable to decipher it, nor tell the origin of this wonderful piece.
