ELFINWARE Clock - Rare Vintage German Porcelain Rose Floral Clock Decorative Arts Elfin Ware

It is done in a soft white lustre finish with basket weave pattern with gray lavender color giving a shadow accent to the weave.

A 2-5/8" gold tone metal framed clock face sits at the center. It has a paper face with black numbers and black hands.

A large dimensional white open rose rests underneath, and vining up each side are blue Forget-Me-Nots with a single white rose bud on each side. All of the dimensional roses are perfect with no missing pieces or chips!

While not currently working, I have found that when I life it or "jiggle" it, it starts ticking, leading me to believe that there is the possibility that it could be taken to a clock person to clean and get working!

~ CONDITION: Visually, this amazing little clock is gorgeous. It does, upon very close examination, have a hairline crack that goes around one corner. (See photo). The crack is old, and seems very secure, and I only found it when I looked at the bottom.

At the top front of the clock, the little blue Forget-Me-Not has been chipped on each side, and nicely recolored, so they do not stand out.

None of the above, for me effect the overall viewing beauty of this pretty clock. Given the rarity, I have also taken these flaws into consideration when pricing it. I have looked everywhere on the Internet, and been unable to find another one!
