FF SALE! 9ct Necklace & Bracelet Set with Amethyst & Cultured Pearls- Designer Signed

This gorgeous 9ct bracelet and necklace set with Amethysts and cultured pearls is beyond words! I'm just crazy about it and I'm sure you will be too if you love matched sets.

Imported into England in 1963 (according to hallmarks on the piece) it's a designer signed piece by Zeeta. In incredibly marvellous vintage condition, and with a combined weight of over 59 grams, you'll go a long way before you find another set of this quality and design at this price.

With insurance appraisals on each of the bracelet and necklace putting their combined replacement value at $8700 CAD (appraised April 2011), this is one very valuable set. Think family heirlooms.

Click on the photos and take a close look at all the detail work on that bracelet and necklace. The chain on the necklace is amazing: it's a cylindrical, interwoven open mesh that is flexible for a comfortable fit and is 5mm in diameter. That's a wide chain! Our jeweler was amazed that this chain, being over 40 years old, is kink and damage free.

The overall length of the necklace is 21", with its fabulous "tie" design, with the "tie" being a vibrant and clear 10.08ct. amethyst framed by 20 lustrous cultured pearls that bring the overall size of that centerpiece to 1" X 7/8". Those cone-shaped ends of the chain are each 3/4" long. The necklace alone weighs 31 grams.

Then there's that bracelet ... oh boy! What a marvellous piece of jewelry. This amethyst is 7.67cts but there's more! Look at the work on either side of that centerpiece: gorgeous ornately etched flowers with 3 tiny amethysts set into their centers flank the large amethyst as the band gently decreases in width to 1/2". These 6 additional amethysts bring the total amethyst carat weight in the bracelet to 8.03cts.

The total of 40 cultured pearls in the full set are graded as "white rose" with high luster, mostly round with good uniformity.

The other stunning feature of this bracelet is the clasp: I've never seen one like this: it's oval, filigreed, and measures approximately 3/4" by 1/2", a tongue in groove closure with a figure 8 safety lock. The bracelet is 7.5" long but bear in mind that it's wide band takes up room on a wrist so even a smaller wrist can wear this one. The inner diameter, when closed, is the standard 2 1/4" you find in most bangles.

The amethysts are perfect, beautifully faceted, with no chips or scratches. This set looks as if it's never been worn.
