Edwardian 9ct Ruby & Seed Pearl Lavalier Pendant

Set in marked '375' (9ct) gold, this beautiful little treat holds 38 natural seed pearls and 22 bordeaux-red rubies! Just in perfect condition, the rubies are a glowing, deep red, with the 21 smaller round-cut rubies collet-set centrally in the pendant, and one larger 5.50 x 3.80mm oval-cut ruby hanging from the bottom of the piece! The smaller round rubies are approximately 1.35mm, or 0.02ct each, for an estimated 0.42ct. The larger ruby is estimated to weigh about 0.40ct.

The seed pearls are dotted throughout, in the bow, down the heart-shape and leading to the ruby dangle! All are a soft, sweet golden-white hue with delicate nacre. The seed pearls measure from approximately 1 to 2mm round each, and all look to be original to the pendant.

The link-clasp is stamped '375' as well as the box-clasp. The tubular clasp has a safety-eight clasp/hook for extra locking strength! The chain is attached to the pendant lavalier & cannot be removed/replaced with a different chain - it is permanent.

From end the end the chain measures 18 1/4 inches long (including an inch of the 'bow' section of the lavalier). The pendant measures 1 1/4 inches at its widest by just under 1 3/4 inches long including the drop-ruby.
