Glistening Water-Blue Vintage AQUAMARINE & Diamond Ring

Measuring a nice, large 13 x 8mm rectangular 'emerald-cut', the natural aquamarine weighs approximately 4.50ct by calculation, with an estimated depth of 7mm. The cut on this beauty is excellent, radiating light all throughout the gem! Its color dances from bright sky-blue to a very gentle very slightly bluish-green tint. There are no chips to the girdle of the gem, however, our price is lower than what it could be because of very minute surface scratch to the aquamarine. As you can see from our pictures, the scratch is minimal and hardly shows, however, it is there and we want you to know it's there. It most likely can be polished away by a jeweler. It does not detract from the overall presence & beauty of this precious gemstone!

On either side of the aquamarine are 3 diamonds, 6 in total. The 2 larger diamonds measure around 3.10mm each, or about 0.12ct per diamond, and the 4 smaller diamonds about 1.85mm, or 0.05pts each. Altogether, the estimated carat weight is 0.45cts. These diamonds are beautiful, round brilliant cuts with clean VS-Si1 clarity and G-H color.

All the gems are set in acid-tested 14kt yellow gold. No markings remain on the band, or were never there to begin with, so we've tested its gold purity to be sure. All prongs are secure and the gold is thick & solid all round.

Currently a sizable US 6 1/4 to 6 1/2. There seems to be a little more room N-S than E-W, so the ring could possibly fit a little larger than a 6 1/2 because the band has extra 'height' or 'room' in it. Nonetheless, sizing will be easy both up or down on the band.
