18k Sapphire & Rose-Cut Diamond Ring - simply glorious!

This beautifully designed ring features a 1.87ct. prong-set oval sapphire of an incredibly bright and very clear blue. That carat size is stamped inside the 18k white gold band ie. "S187". The actual measurements of the sapphire are 8.00 x 6.00 x 4.30 mm .

Enhancing the sapphire are 8 magnificent rose-cut, triangular-shaped diamonds, approximately 3mm x 3mm x 1.4mm (estimate). These are of Si1 - Si2 clarity and G - H colour ie. brilliant, sparkling diamonds, totaling an estimated 0.64cts.

Then, as if that weren't enough sparkle, there are another 56 diamonds in this ring! These are small round brilliant cuts of Si1- Si2 clarity and G - H colour, of which 4-5 are set at the edge of each rose-cut "petal", along with 10 set into either side of the 18k gold white band. Check out the photos to see what I mean. These 56 diamonds add yet another 0.40cts to the all up diamond carat weight, bringing the total diamond carat weight to just over one carat. Add all that to the 1.87ct. sapphire and you have one very valuable vintage 18k ring with your favourite gemstone: sapphire!

We have carried many superb and beautifully designed sapphire diamond rings in our shop, but this has to be one of the prettiest in every way: its flower design, the shape of those rose-cut diamonds, the diamond studded band, and the intensely bright and beautiful blue of that sapphire.
