From my personal collection of fancy colored diamond jewelry, here is a darling, very fine pair of diamond 'huggie' earrings. As the name describes, these little hoops 'HUG' the earlobe, sitting pretty much upon the lobe, perfect for those of you who want sparkle on your ears but can't risk larger earrings dangling, getting caught or tugged on by your favorite little humans.

Exquisitely made with natural pink, yellow and white diamonds, and set in their adjacent colors of 18kt rose gold, 18kt yellow gold and white platinum, these huggies hold a total of 90 diamonds combined, 45 per earring, each meticulously micro-pave set by 4 corners of gold/platinum. Per earring there are 15 natural pink diamonds, graded "fancy pink' with VS-SI clarity, 15 natural yellow diamonds graded "fancy intense yellow" also with VS-SI clarity, and 15 white diamonds graded VS1 to VS2 clarity with G-H color. These fancy colored + white diamonds total approximately 0.41ct.

A heavy pair of earrings for their petite size, these stud hoops weigh 7.20 grams and 'click-in' to the backside of the hoop (there is no separate stud backing). This ensures a very secure hold within your ear, while also completing the true look of a 'huggie' wrapping from front to back.

The earrings measure approximately 13mm from front to back and 4.25mm wide. The 18kt gold and platinum are very clearly marked on both earrings as PT950 and '750' along with a zigzag-like hallmark (looks similar to an M overtop of a W within a box).

As these are from my personal collection, the appraisal is already 8 years old, which at that time valued the earrings at $5150.00 CAD ($3800 USD). Naturally colored diamonds are one of the best investments you can make in jewelry buying, and these beauties are designed to last a very long time with their excellent craftsmanship.
