Dazzling 1.65ct Late-Art Deco COCKTAIL Diamond Ring

Certified by world-renowned lab EGL-USA for a huge $6,700.00 USD in October 2011, with today's rising diamond prices, this incredible ring can only appreciate in value in the years to come!

Set with a total of 15 diamonds in-all, the carat weight of this spectacular beauty totals 1.65ct, with the round brilliant cut diamonds not shy on individual size - BLING!!

The main/central diamond measures 5.05mm round and weighs 0.50ct. It is crystal clear with VS2-Si1 clarity and white F-G color. There are no chips or abrasions of any sort and it's absolutely eye-clean - check out our close-up photo of its clarity!

Forming somewhat of an 'X' shape on either side of the 0.50ct diamond are 14 more diamonds that total an additional 1.15ct. On average they measure between 2.80-3.00mm round, though some are a fair bit larger, measuring around 3.40mm. Proportionally, the eye does not notice these slight size differences - only our digital calipers. These gorgeous diamonds average Si1-Si2 clarity (all eye-clean) and G-H color.

There is SO MUCH sparkle to this ring!! I recently wore it over Christmas/New Years and it stood out like a sore thumb, getting attention constantly. The wonderful late-Art Deco (1935-1940) design/styling of the ring is classic - symmetrical and linear while incorporating millegraining & filigree cut-outs.

Perhaps what is most amazing about this 70yr+ old ring is its condition. I can only assume it has sat out most of its life in a safety deposit box somewhere, as aside from its shank being ever so slighting out of round, it's just in marvelous condition.

The band is clearly marked '14k' along with what looks to be the letters 'K' and 'B', each in their own little diamond shape. This could possibly represent 'JESTENMAN BROS. JEWELRY', who were active in Providence, RI during the Art Deco period, however, we can't be sure, and little information on Jestenman Bros. can be found.
