I don't know where to begin...

Let's start then with the SIZE of this showcase beauty: IT'S BIG - and I mean B-I-G! Think nearly knuckle to knuckle long, and covering the top half of your finger BIG! From end to end (N-S) the ring measures 38.17mm long, or 1.50 inches. East to West, we're looking at 22.39mm wide, or 0.88 inches. NOT for the faint of heart...but oh-so sensational!

This ring is for a): a woman who has the events to go to where flashy jewelry is as important as the night itself and/or b): a collector of very fine gems and/or c): simply a woman who knows & loves fine, valuable jewels!

Now, onto the gems... Think festive... a rainbow of colors... Easter, Christmas... Happiness... Joie de Vivre.

The showcase gem is an OUTSTANDING certified natural UNHEATED sapphire of the cleanest, purest pastel violetish-blue color. A Ceylon gem, it is incredibly clean & brilliant for its huge size of 5.31ct, with a dazzling cut that allows it to sparkle like a diamond in all lighting! Measuring 11.66 x 9.25 x 6.44mm oval mixed cut in shape, one's eye is immediately drawn to its beauty.

Then comes the rainbow of color... set throughout the free-form shape of the ring are an additional 25 natural fancy colored sapphire. Though the appraisal only counts 21, we've triple-counted and there are indeed 25 (the appraisal misses 2 green & 2 yellow sapphires in the count...so actually add a few more $$ to the appraisal value LOL!). There are pink sapphires, more blue sapphires, yellow, orange, green... WOW! These smaller gems vary in shape from round brilliant cut to oval cut, and all are graded with good cuts and eye-clean to slightly-included clarity.

Finally, dotted throughout all those sapphires are 19 claw-set round brilliant cut diamonds that weigh in at just under 1ct at 0.94ct total. On average they each measure 2.50mm, with VS-SI clarity and I-K color. I personally don't see 'K' color in these diamonds, perhaps because they're surrounded by so much color from the sapphires, but our gemologist is strict in his diamond grading, so we'll let his experience win here!

The sensational 'cluster' setting is made of solid 18kt white gold, which is stamped '750' on the band. Currently a US size 8 (18.18mm - 18.25mm inner diameter), the ring will be easily sizable up or down several sizes if required. Please always inquire in advance of purchase.
