Impressive Regal 3.20ct Unheated Sapphire & Diamond Ring

Certified 'unheated', the central gem in this beautiful ring is a sparkling natural pear-cut blue sapphire. Delicate sky blue mixed with gentle cornflower blue radiates from the sapphire that glistens like diamonds. Though it's not heavily saturated in color (dark & deep), its depth of 5.07mm and shape of cut draws its gentler saturation towards the middle of the stone, giving it uniform color & brilliance...and that beautiful sparkle! The sapphire, which it set in a solid 14kt white gold 6-prong 'head' measures an impressive 10.61 x 7.45mm and weighs exactly 3.20ct. Aside from the current appraisal which we've recently had done, the sapphire has a gem certificate stating no indication of heat.

The shank of the ring is cast in 14kt yellow gold that is set with 10 big natural diamonds that have incredible clarity! Graded VVS1-VVS2 in clarity and G-H color, these 10 diamonds total a whopping 1.43cts! The smallest baguette starts at 3.70mm long... that's large for the 'smallest' diamond... the largest measures 5.00mm - half a centimeter! They're obviously high-quality with not the slightest inclusion visible, and their G-H white color compliments the cool blue of the sapphire & white gold head.

Currently a size 6 1/2 - 6 3/4 (inner diameter 16.85-17.10mm), the rings weighs a nice solid 7 grams and the gold is thick & undamaged with no thinning or obvious wear. The baguette diamonds will limit the sizing somewhat - it's safe to say it can be sized down comfortably 1/2 size without pushing it, and likely 1/2-1 size up.
