Here is a very stylish and desirable piece to find these days that incorporates two uses into one piece of furniture. You get both a china closet with plate grooves in the four shelves AND a sideboard with serving area on top and storage below. The older restoration on this piece is still in good condition but there are some slight issues beginning that make this piece slightly less than perfect. The mirror has a few small specks in it, but this is the original beveled glass mirror. A small veneer chip on the center drawer and some veneer is starting to loosen on the bottom of the curved glass door. The locks both work on the china closet and cupboard door. The top drawer has the original silver cloth lining. The back of the piece is starting to show cracks from normal age shrinkage, as seen on the interior of the cupboard. This is the original hardware, not a reproduction. The carvings are all in good condition and all there. The arched hood on the top shelf ends in a great fretwork pattern. Key included.
