This rare signed Bradley & Hubbard solid brass lantern has the pierced design often seen on pie safe tins. It also has 16 "jewels" embedded into each of the four sides of the lantern and on the top quadrants of the roof. The lantern was electrified when we purchased it and it had also been professionally polished and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. It is a very attractive light and would be a fitting addition to any Moorish style rooms. The jewels range in size from 1" to 1.5" and some are faceted, others are merely rounded. There is a variety of colors from opalescent white to light blue, to emerald green to ruby red and more.
