Bradley & Hubbard Amberina Banquet Lamp
Here is a Bradley & Hubbard banquet lamp that has been electrified. Whoever did the transition managed to use the original porcelain capped fixture as the twist switch for the socket. The tall brass column is decorated with a series of Foxglove or similar blossoms in nickel. One is missing. The bottom of the base has the embossed Bradley & Hubbard label along with the number 3529. The porcelain knobs on the mechanism are labeled "Gardner Strand and London". The use of the rare Amberina Glass in both the font and the shade is very rare. The delicate shift of color from pale gold to pale pink puts this in the "Art Glass" realm. A very nice, well balanced banquet lamp.
