This is the epitome of a tall and deep wardrobe! The single door has a full length beveled glass mirror that has been re-silvered. It makes this imposing piece quite a bit less intrusive in a room. Very heavy construction with hand dovetailing everywhere that also allows you to take this piece apart for shipping and carting into narrow spaces. The crown top has an interesting ribbed molding on all three sides and a very unique scalloped detail. Half turnings are used as decorative accents on the recessed pilasters. Fretwork cutouts face the central panel of the drawer below. Nickel plated pulls are original and very interesting. The Escutcheon on the door is old, but not original. Key included. A single shelf finishes out the interior with a place for a towel bar to fit just under this. Interior depth: 19" Interior width: 35"
