An honest oak secretary desk with a bowed glass bookcase or china on the left side. The bowed glass case has four adjustable shelves inside and the original key and pull to open it. The desk side of this piece has a drop front writing surface with interior pigeon holes along with a pencil drawer and pencil holder (bottom right of the pigeon holes). Double desk supports help if you want to hold the weight of a laptop. Below the desk are three drawers, the top one is bowed. Above the desk is a small alcove with a beveled glass mirror and above that is a cupboard with another beveled glass mirror in the door. Carved accents add a few more touches to this piece. Two keys included. An old paper label on the back noted that this desk was made by the Rockford Chair and Furniture Company, Rockford, Illinois. The label is hardly readable at this point.
