McCoy Spirit of ’76 Small Pitcher

This great McCoy Spirit of '76 Cream Pitcher was introduced by the McCoy Pottery Co., in 1972 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of America. This is one of 17 items produced for the line in 1972. All pieces have the Eagle & Flag decal that says "The Spirit of `76" and have "Carved Wooden Eagle, Artist Unknown, National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C." on the bottom (ref: McCoy Reference & Value Guide, 1997). The Pitcher measures 4 ½" across from handle to end of spout and 5 ½" tall. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
